It's been awhile

Sorry not able to post what's going on with us. We just started our adult foster care in September and we have one adult male living with us. We named our foster care TLC for Adult and God opened the door for our ministry to provide the community. We also provide respite care in our home. So Mark quit one of his two full time jobs and just work one full time and at home. I still work full time job. It was quite an challenge for us and adjust a new family in our home.

I just reconnected my young half-brother age 17, Kenny, in October. He is in foster care another town about an hour away and he is recovering drugs and drinking. I have met him first time when he was 10 years old and never saw him again until October. I learned so much about him and knowing how his life is like when he is growing up with my birth father. He will be moving with us in mid-January and we will be his foster parents until he graduate high school in 2010. We developed great bond and grow closer in relationship. So we are looking forward for him to moving in.

Our dogs, Packers and Green Bay is doing well and Green Bay is now 9 months old and he is just such a great dog to our family. Here's the photo of them for Christmas 2008.

Our summer so far!!

We went to WI Dells as part of our one year wedding anniversary. We went on Jet Boat and WI Ducks tours. We really love riding on Jet Boat and it a super soak wet ride!! :)

Green Bay is growing so big and very active puppy! He is now five month old this week! He is such a joy to our family and had a great bond with Packers.

But otherwise everything goes well...by the way...Tasha's golden birthday is coming up next week Monday and she is turning 28 years old on July 28th!! So the birthday party is on Sunday and we are also including housewarming party all in one!!

Summer

Our summer is going well and loving our new home and new puppy. We have been working around the house and do some projects. Both of our dogs are getting along great and they play each other alot. We just celebrate our one year wedding anniversary yesterday on July 7th. We are hopefully plan on going to Wisconsin Dells for one of the attractions this coming Sunday as part of our anniversary.

Green Bay!!

This is Green Bay, he is 3 months old and he is very loveable!! We really enjoy to have him be part of our family!! :) Both Packers and Green Bay are working on trying to get along and hopefully they will be best buddy!!

Moving!!!

Well today is the day!! We are moving everything what we have and start living 0ur new home!! We will come back to our apt to do the cleaning and return the keys so the new people can start living the apt. Also we are going to pick up our puppy, Green Bay, today later this afternoon. We talked to the breeder and that he is now double his size and we cannot wait for him to join our family!! Well our computer will be down to unhook everything and put it back on later today or tomorrow. Will check back soon!!!

We Moved!!

We just closed our house yesterday and started to move in!!! We did alot yesterday and I am so tired out and still tired!! I didn't get my nap and came home late!! We have more to go and will be starting to live in our new house on Tuesday!! I cannot wait to start decorating my house!!

Our prayers!!

We need a prayer that the transition of our move to Sparta in few weeks that we brought a house. Mark just applied his job at Riverfront for transfer position to Tomah and that he will have interview hopefully next week. For myself, that if there is any future job openings for Franciscan Skemp that I can transfer to one of the locations at Sparta, Tomah or Onalaska since it will be closer to our new home. We are thankful for everything the Lord has provided for us and that we trust Him for whatever His plans for us.

Green Bay

We got the puppy!! His name is Green Bay and he is five weeks old right now. We won't have him until May 20th as we move into our new home. Mark picked one out of the litter and he love this one. So we are hoping Packers will get along with Green Bay and be playful to one another.

Puppy!!

Tomorrow afternoon we are going to see the male collie puppy and to look at it and we will have the puppy by next month if we decided to take it. Mark is gonna to name it Green Bay. Cannot wait to see the puppy!! So now we will have two dogs named Green Bay and Packers!! :) LOL!! Packers might have to adjust to getting use to the another dog and hope they will get along as future Green Bay gets bigger, which Packers likes to go after and bark after the big dog to think he is the bigger dog.

Packing!!

As we are now just starting packing and so many stuff to pack that we don’t need for the next month!! Been picking up boxes every other day. Good news is that someone is coming over this coming Wed to look at our apt and hopefully they will move in the end of May so that we don’t have to pay June rent!! It would save lots of money for us!!! Just counting down the days to move!! Lately Mark has so many great ideas what we should do on our house.

We got new home

We got the house at Sparta and the offer was accepted and will be ready to move in after May 15th!!! We loved the house and we have looked around locally and none we like. We have been struggle to find a loan that would works for us and finally found one it works and been pre-approved for the loan. We are so excited!!

About Mark

Mark is a great person to be around and he has a childlike heart in him. He is the father of his three children and he greatly missed them and tried the best he can be. He has been working two full time jobs here in WI. He is working for Riverfront and Cooper Family Treatment which he both working disabled people and do personal cares. He loves to play his video games and are a Packer fan!! Go Pack Go!!

He came from a large family and his father is now retired pastor and his mother is retired RN. He has total 8 brothers and sisters. He moved around a lot and have been in the army which he has stayed in Germany.

About Tasha

I have been growing up all my life here in WI, but I have moved around in different cities and lived in GA for five years. I graduated in 1999 at Berkmar High School in GA and I moved right back to my hometown of La Crosse, WI to attend college. I graduated in 2002 for Associated Degree for Administrative Assistant. I am currently working at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare for 8 years and been doing different positions for the past, but now I am Assistant Baker. I really enjoy trying some new experiences.

I was born deaf and am the only one in the family. I learned ASL at 3 years old and my speech are very good. I became born again Christian in June 2, 2000 when I knew I need Jesus in my life when I was going thru the hardest time in my life. But God is GREAT, and all the time God is GOOD!!

How we met and our wedding

Mark and I met at the Single's Retreat in October 2005 thru our church. We really didn't get to know each other on the way back home on the bus. And he gave me his phone number to think about it. I was in the process of breaking up my engagement to the long distance relationship of three years that wasn't working out. After few days of prayer and I went to call Mark up and said okay to go out. We have learned so much of each other and how common we are. We both agreed to take premarraige class in the fall of 2006 first before we get engaged. We were officially engaged in Sept. 26, 2006 right after we watch the movie The Lake House when he got down his knee to ask me to marry him. Which I said yes!!

Mark and I just got married on July 7, 2007 and we were so blessed by the Holy Spirit to this day. We are so excited and in awed of all this preparation of this day. We went to our honeymoon at Disney's World for three days and four days on Disney's Wonder Cruise. It was a great experiences and love to go back there again.
